Willow Hill Dome High School Boys Information (15u-17u)

New Coach Alert!

BIG welcome to Matt Mooney joining Kessel Basketball! We’re fired up to have him with us! He will be working with the Kessel Heat players and this Spring AAU season coaching our High School players and helping them reach their goals.  We’re excited to have him on board and can’t wait for the impact he’ll make.

Matt Mooney is an accomplished college and professional basketball player. He's played the last 7 seasons professionally with stops in Europe, Australia, and two stints in the NBA with Cleveland and New York. In 2019 he led Texas Tech to the National Championship game, was on the NCAA All-Tournament Team, and awarded Second Team All-Big 12. Prior to that he was a two-time First Team Summit League selection at the University of South Dakota. Now, the Wauconda, IL native is developing players and also developing an app  to help every player accomplish their basketball dreams.

Practice Times

Practices start the first week of March 30th and run until the end of May.

Mondays - May 30 / April 6, 13, 20, 27 / May 4, 11, 18, 25

5th-8th Boys 6:00-7:30pm
High School Boys 7:30-9:00pm

 

Wednesdays - April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 / May 6, 13, 20, 27

NATIONAL Level
NY2LA ASSOCIATION

Must be selected to make this team

Team Details:  

  • There will be one team at each level 15u, 16u and 17u
  • This team will practice two days a week.
  • Will participate in the NY2LA Association against top elite competition plus additional local and top tournaments in the area.
  • Players will get exposure on social media through Kessel & NY2LA
  • Will get elite exposure to college coaches and scouts
  • Also built into the team fee, we will be talking to colleges and working on getting your kids a scholarship. We will help assist in all recruitment. 

 

During registration you will have the option to
pay in full or to pay by payment plan

**Spring & Summer Commitment**

Cost: $2500 + Uniform Fee

*Uniforms will be ordered separately more information will come later

Payment Plan Breakdown:

  • At Time of Registration: $500
  • April 15th: $500
  • May 15th: $500
  • June 15th: $500
  • July 15th: $500

NOTE: This team fee includes the following: Tournament Fees, Gym Rentals, Coaches Fees, and Insurance Coverage. The tryout fee is due at the time of registration ($20), once rosters are posted we ask that a payment is made to secure your player's spot.

NY2LA Association Dates

Regional Level (high school)

**Spring Commitment ONLY**

Team Details:  

  • These teams will practice two days a week as a team
  • Games will be played within one hours distance
    • Will play in a minimum of 6 AAU tournaments during the spring season
  • Regional teams are great for multi sport kids playing other spring sports, flexible schedules, and a great way to keep a basketball in their hands
  • Coaches will focus heavily on develop the players skill level and basketball ability, emphasis will be on making the individuals better basketball players for the high school season

During registration you will have the option to
pay in full or to pay by payment plan

 

Spring Only Commitment:

$1,195 + New uniform*
