Spring AAU 2021

There are NO CUTS after evaluations; each team will have no more than 10 players. All tournaments will be played on the weekends. Tournaments will start end of March and end the last weekend in May.

All teams will have set coaches from our elite coaching staff. All coaches will be monitored by Illinois Hall of Famer Dennis Kessel. Dennis who will help each coach reach their full potential. High school players will receive our full support in reaching out to colleges and helping with their recruitment.

Each team will practice two evenings a week and will practice together as a team with their coach (There will be more than one team at each grade level)

Things to know for tryouts:

  • Bring your own basketball and water bottle with your name written on it
  • Masks must be worn the entire time while in the building
  • There is a ONE TIME $20 tryout fee due at time of registration
  • We encourage kids to attend as many tryouts as they can
  • Arrive 15 mins prior to tryouts in order to facilitate registration
  • REGISTERING ONLINE IS MANDATORY DUE TO COVID GUIDELINES
  • WALKINS WILL NOT BE WELCOME

SPRING DETAILS:

  • NCAA Certified Coaches
  • Offer team levels for all players – NO CUTS!
    • Regional and National Level for all ages
    • Multiple teams at each grade level
    • No more than 10 players per team
  • Many of Kessel Heat’s players continue to play at the college level
  • We have the most experienced coaches in the area including various high school coaches who take pride in taking the time to continue developing all of our players.
  • Each team will practice two evenings a week and will practice together as a team with their coach
  • Practices will start:
    • 2nd-8th Grade: March 8th and run until the end of May
    • High School: March 20th and run until the end of May
